Homemade Chick-Fil-A

By no means is this perfect, but it was exactly what I was looking for when I didn't want to head all the way into the city.

1) The sandwich ingredients:
2 chicken breasts (cut in half to fit on a bun)
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp. water
1 cup flour
1 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
pickles

Preheat the oven to 350.

Mix the egg, milk and water in a bowl. In a shallow dish, mix flour, paprika, sugar, baking soda and dry mustard. Dredge chicken pieces in the egg mixture, then the flour mixture. Place in a shallow, greased baking dish.

Bake for 45 minutes to an hour.

2) The sauce ingredients:
2 tbsp. honey mustard
2 tbsp. BBQ sauce
1 tbsp. mayonnaise

3) Assemble the sandwich.

I put mine on a pretzel bun because...what's not to love about a pretzel bun? Cut the bun in half. Layer the bottom bun, three pickles (dill or sour pickles,) the chicken breast, sauce and the top of the bun. Serve and enjoy.
